You're exactly following my logic, lol.
I wouldn't trade Reggie or pretty much anyone for the #1 pick and guarantee some kid $75mil that could really frick up our salary cap situation without even knowing if he'll be good or not.

changing rookie pay is the one thing that will absolutely get done in the new cba.
I've heard that the #1 pick guarantee could go from Bradfords $78mil to about $25mil. That'll be tough for those boys to live with.

i wouldn't pay him 12 million next season, but if he doesn't restructure, we may be forced to (in which case i would)
