You know t.u. sings about us in their fight song, right? :)

SEE, you can't stop comparing yourselves to UT! Funny that you said "T.U." instead of "UT", another sign of feelings of inadequacy methinks.

I've never been a huge trash talker, I'm a big believer in karma, what comes around goes around. I really DO hope it's a good game, but dammit, we need to win!

There's not much inadequate about A&M these days ... lots to be proud of.

We say t.u. because UT is University of Tennessee. "University of Texas" implies they represent all of Texas, whereas that school more closely represents California than the majority of the state. A&M has been around since 1876 while t.u. has been open since 1883, so they weren't even the 1st public institution of higher learning in the state. Their hook 'em horns hand sign was contrived by one of their male cheerleaders in response to the popularity of the Gig 'Em hand sign. Their fight song was written after ours and references us. They used to copy our Bonfire tradition as well. But none of it sticks, 'cause they lack dedication and loyalty. Need proof? Look at all their empty seats when their team isn't winning. They are weak and fairweather and they don't represent the values of Texas. :)

You're in the same situation as I am. I am surrounded by Ags & losing to them would be disastrous. I've always said that there is more downside to losing to ATM than any benefit that comes with beating them.
