Also, if no one would post any of the information they heard, be it rumor or fact, this website would not be where it is today. While I would never advocate pushing an unsubstantiated rumor across the board, nor would I post damaging information about a player, I will post information that I know to be true that vindicates a player's reputation.

Sure it would. Someone else would just get the credit you seem to require so badly. And I don't know how this thread vindicates anyone. He was vindicated when the NCAA absolved him of any wrongdoing.

TD ain't the New York Times. This board thrives on rumors the way the National Enquirer thrives on celebrity dirt and three-headed cows. A legit post is indeed refreshing and appreciated but don't expect a Pulitzer.
