For what its worth, it says Hoke's buyout clause will remain at 1.5 million. This suggest that even if he hasn't signed the extension, it is already part of his current contract.
Either way, I still think they hire Hoke. Nothing to base this on other than my gut feeling, which is right about 21.467% of the time.

OK thanks. On Hoke: I think there are just too many players behind the scenes at Michigan that all want "their guy". He would be safe hire for the program, but won't get the fans pumped.
