Yep, look at my edit. The extension was agreed to "in principle", but I can't find out if it was ever finalized and signed. I also don't know if the buyout was part of that as well. Hoke might be free and clear.

For what its worth, it says Hoke's buyout clause will remain at 1.5 million. This suggest that even if he hasn't signed the extension, it is already part of his current contract.
Either way, I still think they hire Hoke. Nothing to base this on other than my gut feeling, which is right about 21.467% of the time.
