It should be offensive to African Americans that some people still think they need every advantage given to them. The Rooney Rule by definition gives African Americans a "head start" over any other ethniticty (sp). You don't give a "head start" to someone who you think is on even footing. Its pathetic, because I have plenty of African American friends that are smarter/faster/better than me. To even promote the idea they need an advantage is bullshite and offensive.

You think the "rooney rule" is really a head start/advantage for african americans in the hiring of NFL head coaches?
