I am sure some do, its is probably a better investment than gold right now, if you have a quarter made before 1964 you probably own silver.

Actually I own quite a bit physical silver and gold. My grandfather was obsessed with collecting the stuff and left it to us. My brother and I have a gold bar in his gun safe. No telling what that thing is worth right now.

That's easy, about 1400 bucks an ounce.

I own a few hundred ounces of silver bullion. Nothing major, something I bought on a whim at $13/oz.

Either that, or the standard, Rivers issued, 1 ton bar.

Yep. From a coin collection I started when I was a kid.

I have about 100 oz silver (old collection from Franklin Mint & misc coins); and 5.2 oz gold - most purchased at about $350 to $450. Am I ready for the apocalypse?

I wish! It is 1 kilo which is equal to about 35 ounces. $49,000!
Still a nice chunk of change.

I got a bag of it in a safe deposit box that weighs more than 50lbs, combination of 100% silver and 90% silver coins, wish it was gold fo sho. The cost of the coins was zero, so I can't complain.
