Leach to LSU!

why would any LSU "fan" want this to happen?

I could see why fans of Ole Miss, Moo St, Arky, Aubie, Bama or any SEC East school would want this.

Two things about Leach:
- he doesn't know the definition of the word "running back"; and
- Miles wants to run the ball in a pro-style format, he needs to find an OC with whom his philosophy meshes so he can stop overruling playcalls or it will be more of the same as what we see now

I just don't see Miles and Leach working together. They are total opposites when it comes to offense

You see...LSU's offense sucks arse. Mike Leach has proven he knows how to run an offense.

Common mis-perception. Texas Tech can't recruit the big name 5 star runningbacks so his system at TT largely relied on his QB. Because of this, the production he did get from his running backs was largely overlooked.

In 2008, RB Baron Batch had 113 carries for 758 yards and 7 TDs. He also had 45 receptions for 450 yards.

In 2009 Batch had 168 carries for 884 yards 14TDs. 57 catches for 395 yards.

In addition to Batch's 884 in 2009, Harrison Jeffers added 217 yards and Eric Stevens rushed for 254. There you have it... just last year under Leach 3 guys split the load and rushed for over 1300 yards. Mythbusted.

Miles loves to pound the ball out of the I. What beter way to open up that ability than throw in Leach's passing attack.
