all they have to do is beat carolina -- they can afford to be magnanimous

if emo makes the 29 yarder it's a different story

we fumbled on like the 2 yard line...

brees threw an idiotic pick 6....

we can go back and forth on the ifs all day.

These two teams are about as even as they can be. I think the two best teams in the NFC easily. Pats are playing ungodly right now and are the other team that is in the top 3.

im gonna be pissed if we have to play in the divisional round, which is the most likely scenario. fricking gay.

fricking retarded a team sub 500 gets homefield...i say frick the division rights to homefield and do like the mlb and nba do...top winning percentages get the better seed

ETA: I can see a green bay team winning as a 6 seed and going through to play the 1 seed...which is most likely the falcons right now

it is pretty damn dumb but i dunno my feelings on it. it's a lot easier to not care about division champs in those sports due to so many games. in the nfl, half the games are against the division. im sure my opinion would be pretty firm if the falcons were about to get fricked (technically still possible), but since it's the saints and it's about to happen, i dont care.

obviosuly that's just blatant bias and being a dick but you can't blame me.

anyways, excited to see game 3 in the dome in a few weeks. gonna be another fun one.

yeah i was talking to my friend about this. still possible the 6 beats the 3 and we don't see each other till the conference title. i definitely prefer this route.

Saints/Falcons games to me are getting to be the best games to watch all season. As far as a real rivalry is going..i don't see any other teams in the nfl even being close. And I think for years to come as well.

It should at least have seeding based on record. The division set up And wild card spots are fine for earning playoff births.

I still think a winning record should be a requirement for a division winner. If a division doesn't qualify they should just add another wild card birth.

that's stupid. One day we might need to go in through that division champ round even if we have a shitty record. It benefits everyone but mostly use who was a shitty team for years on end.
