You really don't need more than like a $600 system to run CSS playable. That's one of the draws IMO to CSS/CS is that you don't need top of the line, cutting edge hardware to run it. CSS is simple yet tactical and it just works and keeps working and will probably be around for a good deal longer.

I havent played CS in so long.. I used to play nothing bus CS, and then everyone I knew switched to CS:S so i started playing it an play it everynight.. So much more fun to me than any of the cod games.. and my 300 dolla emachine runs css with not one problem at all
