Back when I worked on the river, I was going down the Ohio river. We were out on the barges working, and saw a bunch of coots going crazy in front of us. When we got closer we saw an eagle hovering above them, trying to grab one. We got dead even with him before he saw us and he literally went from 15 to 100 ft in the air in bout 4 sec.
