I've never shot a dog in the woods, but I think if (even collared) it continously trespassed and harrassed my deer it would be taken out, and I dont mean to Burger King. This is all on the stipulation of repeated offenses. Once or twice, I would let it slide. I once had a dachsund that thought he was a grayhound and would disappear for a day or two every now and then. I'd be mad if something had happened to him, but the fault would be partly mine for not controlling him better.

we have rural garbage dumpster by my camp. people drop dogs off all the time. if they make it to adulthood its a miracle. then they really get wild. i have shot 3 dogs in 5 years. i have a dog at home so this is never fun. I will say the first one i put out of its misery. the last two ran deer out of my food plot 2 weekends in a roll. then they died. i don't shoot pets.
