Seriously, I usually do homemade baked macaroni and cheese with ham--I fix it ahead of time and then heat it just before serving.
Asparagus is good with it too.

My sis-in-law is bringing ham and I'm also making a baked mac and cheese to go with it.
I want to make corn grits, but I don't think anyone would eat those. My husband isn't a fan. I love them, but I don't need to eat them! However, I am making grilled shrimp, so maybe it could work.
Those green beans look incredible.

I think I am going to do the mac and cheese..
I'm still leaning towards something green as well..So maybe those green beans wouldn't be a bad idea. Guess it's better to keep it simple with a ham.
