Yes it will bother the deer.

Come on people think about it. I always walk to my stands but understand the need for some people to drive to theirs but if you do I would go real early and not after day break especially when other people could be hunting.

I can hear ATV's running from hunting lands all around me you can't tell me a mature buck doesn't hear this also and understand when he hears ATV sounds it is time to bed down. I know at my place (200 acres) that you can tell if my father in law or brother in law have been at the property recently by how many deer I see.

Also, at our place the deer do not like to be around cows. If the cows are in one field I go to the other because I do not see as many deer especially bucks. Now this could only be at my place but I doubt it.

We walk to all our stands too.

This is how I think of it. The deer basically have it quiet for 9 months out of a year and then when hunting season starts there are ATVs running around everywhere . . . THEY KNOW WHEN THINGS CHANGE.
