Matt Allen on the Tigers

Sounds like LSU saved him with a scholarship offer. Does not mention how his time was spent at LSU. What happened? Was it so bad that he had to throw away all of his purple and gold?

I really hope he gets his butt layed out.. He doesn't need to hate on us because he wasn't good enough to start in the SEC

This guy was dating a soccer player at LSU (can't remember who) and I met him. He was a d-bag even while he was with the Tigers. This is not surprising.

i am sure nevis will take it easy on him.

Sounds to me like this kid always had a hard-on to play for the Aggies, and nothing LSU could have done, even offering him a scholarship that A&M wouldn't provide... would have changed that.

Mostly likely came to LSU thinking he was too good for us. He apparently left that way, too.

Either way, no big loss. LSU is fine without him, and he's happy at A&M.

But to put things in perspective... I had no idea who this kid was before I read this article. That's how much we're all looking forward to playing YOU, Matt Allen.

BTW, I have a friend who works on the coaching staff, I never send him football related shite because I know it's just annoying, but I did email this article. I think it could be worthwhile.

The guy said in the interview that he's still friends with his former teammates and has talked to many of them on the phone since LSU was announced.

It's a good story-line but the guy wasn't trying to run smack talk against LSU.

The reporters tried to bait him a few times ... one question that stood out was "How would you compare Mike Sherman and Les Miles as coaches?" He responded that they are both player's coaches and have been successful at their respective schools.

It'd make for a better story if he were running smack, but the interview didn't come across that way to me, and I watched the entire thing. How many of y'all have?
