I would like some thoughts from the experts on here. I made myself a new sig and I cut out a player for the first time. I think it did a pretty good job cutting out Mathieu, but I wanted to see what you guys thought. Here it is:

A question concerning photo touch-up. I've seen some great work on here related to that. A Hokie friend posted a real old and faded pic of his Dad beside a helicopter flown in viet Nam. He wasn't asking for photo help, we just had a thread on our pay board honoring those who have served this country! I saw the pic...very faded and purple-ish. I copied it and used Paintnet with the Hue/Saturation thingy and was able to take out most all of the purple.
My question is, was this the correct tool to use...here are the pics.
Again, he didn't ask for help, I just wanted to help out since there are so many things we can do with these programs like Gimp and Paintnet, etc.
