Tyree Bracken's older brother Timmy played RB for St. John in the early 2000's in St, John's first trip to the Dome. Timmy played football at Michigan, but never broke about fourth string.

White Castle is just south of Plaquemine. Had several State Championships in Basketball. In the late 70's to early 80's had pretty good footall teams as well. The Bracken boy is the younger brother to Timmy Bracken, who was a star running back at St. John High in Plaquemine. He signed with Michigan.

i dont know.. i only started listening at about 6 minutes to go in the half.. just a bunch of turnovers by OCS..

He made a few good defensive plays early, but that's about it.

Martin's influence has been like PP. The other cornerback has 9-10 int's this year. i.e. opposing teams don't throw at him. He has played some safety this game and has had a couple good runs from the qb position.

Look for OCS to come back in the second half. As previously mentioned, the 6 OCS turnovers are the main reason for the WC lead. The WC offense has only had one big play all night.
Additionally, OCS normally does not have their offensive linemen go both ways in the first half. This allows for the offense to explode in the second half, and if the defense starts to struggle, they rotate in Harper, Tarver, and Wilkes to keep pressure on the opposing offense. While this might not matter in other classifications, it can make a major difference in 1A.

Timmy graduated in 2000. They went to the Dome his Junior year, the '98-99 school year. Shared the backfield with Jonte' Price that year, who played defense at LA Tech.
