as far as dont time on the camera- We usually have 1000-1500 pictures on that camera and that time we had a gap of a week or so with nothing then about 80 pictures and his pictures in a separate file on the card.
my buddy showed him the pictures that he had of him on his phone.

Buddy prolly shouldn't shown him the pics, that's showing your hand prematurely IMO
