I'm thinking if Mett chooses LSU, Crowton stays

Do you think this has a major effect on Miles' decision regarding staff changes? <- this is for the people who don't read posts, and reply to subject line only.
Disclaimer: I'm sure this has been posted to some extent before, but the posts come and go so quickly around here these days, there's a good chance it's gone undiscussed. It has for me.
Coordinators have such a short shelf life in the SEC because of the wide array of skills currently available within the Southeastern recruiting grounds, especially at QB. What you have in the pocket one year will not necessarily be around the next year (see Florida, Auburn). And what you have at OC, will not necessarily be around the next year if they experience success with a particular QB (see Florida, perhaps Auburn, again).
I'm thinking: if Mett chooses LSU, Crowton will stay, because of what he can do with a true pocket passer (that has had the opportunity to develop with time). (See Matt Flynn)

perhaps if he stays, Mett doesn't choose LSU

God, let's hope not. Just the possibility of Crowton staying is already starting to affect recruiting.

Crowton had absolutely nothing to do with Matt Flynn's development. Crowton has shown time and time again that he doesn't know how to develop a QB.
