Crowton's Offensive stats

I had heard how Crowton's offense always starts off strong and then tails off until another college picks him up to restart the cycle. I decided to look that info up and post it as evidence of why he should be fired or replaced. As it turns out I was surprised. Here are his numbers (even took liberty of comparing to LSU's when he wasn't here)
()= NCAA Ranking
ypg= yards per game
................Crowton.........................LSU......
2002........(50)381 ypg (BYU).........(86)350 ypg
2003........(102)314 ypg (BYU)........(31)418 ypg
2004........(48)382 ypg (BYU).........(38)395 ypg
2005........(18)439 ypg (Ore)...........(60)374 ypg
2006........(9) 422 ypg (Ore)...........(11)417 ypg
2007........(26)439 ypg (LSU)
2008........(55)368 ypg (LSU)
2009........(112)304 ypg (LSU)
2010........(93) 332 ypg (LSU)
Really he has been fairly consistant before 2009. It just happens that 2 of his 3 worst years happened to be 09 and 10. Could this be due to QB or interference with his play calling....I don't know, but I do know that at BYU his numbers fell 1 year but were back at at high level a year later. Oregon's worst was his last but seriously, can you say 422 ypg is a drop that deserves criticism. Just saying that our lack of offensive production could be something other than Crowton.
I want someone new, but at least know the facts before you spew off that he historically has a dropoff that you read from someone at BYU.

Not that it affects your point, but cfbstats has LSU offense at 89 with 334.6.
At least it looks better than 93.
