It's pretty ironic that some here are dismissing TAMU as a little sister to Texas, while elevating Michigan St. as some B10 powerhouse. Since the 60's, Michigan St. has pretty much defined "little sister" when it comes to it's in-state superior, while TAMU has been pretty much even with Texas for the past 30 years. These are probably the same people that would have told you that Illinois was a prestigious draw in the Sugar Bowl when LSU played them in 2002.

Great first post.

So Texas has had a Heisman winner (Ricky Williams)
Gone to 2 BCS national championships. Won 1.

OU has had 2 Heisman winners (Jason White & Sam Bradford).
Gone to 3 BCS national championships. Won 1 (2000)

The Big 12 (or 10 now) is always the Big 2 little 10.

Once again, it's OU/Texas (this year OU) playing for the title. Don't give me the tiebreaker crap because the same thing happened to Texas in 2008.
