Because he know's how to gameplan. He know's how to create a advantage against the defense. He's not Earl Lane, he doesnt sleep in Offensive meetings in New Orleans.

We better grab him before he heads back to the U.

I think he is a great coach but OC? Too risky. If he was coming in to replace Gonzo, I'd say hell yes, homerun hire and probably couldn't do better.

I'd love it if CJ were at LSU, just as the WR Coach, not the OC. I don't want the reigns turned over to someone who has never been an OC before.

As a WR coach, what has he done with the Saints or elsewhere that shows he knows how to game plan or create advantages against a defense. That's what OC's do. He's just coaching the WR's how to run routes, hold on to passes and block.

LSU is way past the point of taking risks on coaches who have little or no experience in the area thay are being hired for. Why some of you put out names of coaches that fall into that category is mystifying. LSU/SEC is no place for on the job training. That includes for head coach's and OC/DC's...........
