Even though it is a Seahawks article, it is very complementary of the Saints!
I kinda like hearing what opponents (and media) have to say about the Saints.

The Seahawks weren't going to outscore a red-hot Drew Brees in the Superdome on Sunday. Their 2005 Super Bowl team might not have won this one.

Mostly, the Seahawks lost because Brees was on the other team. The Super Bowl MVP, appearing rejuvenated following the Saints' bye, tossed four touchdown passes. He threw with a level of precision that bordered on unfair as New Orleans converted 11 of its 15 chances on third down (73 percent).

And Brees is a shadow of his former self according to some.

Same old Brees, minus as much offensive help and him throwing more INTs this year.

And Chris Ivory is a midget with no speed so he'll never be anything in the NFL.

Well, thats extreme, but you could place all three loses squarely on his shoulders.
That was never the case before really.

I beg to differ. He moved the team down the field against ATL and set up the kicker for a chip-shot winning FG. Can't blame that on him.
Sure, he's had a few more INTs this season, but it's a team game. Injuries have played a big part. D not getting the bounces it got last season.
To blame Brees as the main culprit is wrong.

He threw a DUMB and I mean DUM pass in the red zone that took a scoring chance off the board against atlanta.
And in Cleveland in Arizona games he threw 4 picks 6's didnt he?

Brees isn't playing as well as last year, fact.
Last time I checked, he still doesn't suck.
Enjoy the fact that he is playing better now than a few weeks ago and move on.

I really think we are going to find out there is more to knee in jury than we ahve been told. He looked much better in Seahawks game. Really throwing it well down field.
