It's true. Our student section is juvenile, unoriginal and LAME. They also don't care how they are represented to the rest of the country, and won't listen to their own school's repeated requests to clean up their act.

This is because their sense of entitlement is out of control, to the point of believing they couldn't possibly be wrong about something.

But you can't move them. You can't take seats from them either. It's not right. They are the students at LSU. They deserve to be there.

But, like an earlier poster suggested, you can tax them. To whom much is given, much will be required. These kids are given plum seats in the lower bowl and immunity from reprimand for their tastelessness. In return, I say make them pay full price for tickets, in line with the other folks who sit in the lower bowl. And let them know exactly why they are being taxed.

Perhaps if the students have to work harder for the ability to attend games, they will have a greater appreciation for their presence there.

Currently, they have no respect for that privilege. It is simply one of many that they enjoy. That is why they abuse that privilege. It is CHEAP to them.

The student section, in its small capacity, is probably loud as the rest of the stadium combined. And you guys want to punish them? Cuz they curse? Other SEC teams will be laughing all the way to a W every time there is a 3rd and short on that side of the field or a late play in the game. Get over yourselves. We could cater to the guys who make more money and have a boring, slighly loud stadium, or let the hardcore fans stay and cheer their butts off. I talked a guy before the game this weekend who was planning on leaving before the first quarter ended. Thats what the older crowd brings. A big ole bag of nothing.
