i just went through this same bit of research and we decided to go with a ranger, even though we bought a used one
my buddy who sells several different brands told me the polaris was hands down the best
the mules are solid, but a little slow for my taste

Ditto to the Rhino brakes squealing. I've put numerous sets of aftermarket brakes on mine and they all do the same thing.
Other than that, though, I've been pretty happy with it.
