First, I think this WR corps is over-rated. Probably mediocre at best compared to what Florida, Georgia and Carolina have. They drop Waaaayyy too many catchable passes-which has also made JJ and JL look bad. Had LSU receivers caught the dozens of passes they've dropped, LSU wouldn't be near the bottom of the FBS stats in passing.
I think Crowton probably wants to run a west coast-type spread offense but Michigan-man Miles likes the smash mouth, 3 yards and a cloud of dust, in your face, grindhouse football. The problem is LSU O has no identity in what it really is this year.

I wish that's the offense we ran. At least then we would be playing to our strengths.
