These guys are the leaders for our defense, and our defense is great. IMO, we have no leader on offense, and that is one of the biggest reason; and very important one, that our offense is not very good. This is one reason, just one, that I was hoping Russell Shepard were our future quarterback. He has what it takes to be a leader.

We'll go 11-1 this year without leadership and Mettenberger will come in and be our Pharaoh who will lead us to the promised land.

Are you not an Auburn fan? I hope you are not relating LSU to Auburn and Cam, because if you are, no thanks. Both had problems that seemed minor, but we don't need that at LSU.

How did you get that at all out of being excited about finally having a quarterback next season?

Sorry, don't mean to jump to conclusions. Are you an Auburn fan or LSU?

LSU

The Auburn thing is trying some reverse karma for this weekend.

I've got the "The LSU will win 10+ games club" under my name.

He's an LSU fan cheering for Auburn just in case they actually do lose, so no bad karma will come to LSU.

"We'll go 11-1 this year without leadership and Mettenberger will come in and be our Pharaoh who will lead us to the promised land."

You do know that the "Pharaoh" didn't lead anyone into the promised land, don't you?

Yeah. They left Pharoah to be led by the Prophet, who wandered 40 years before going to the promised land. Not only did you use the wrong Noun, the analogy is not one you want in football.

Using the 40 year thing...Saban was our prophet. He lead us out of a long era of pain and suffering. But he lead us to Miles. So I guess that would make Miles our savior? Idk I regress.

PP7, Shep, and the Nevistator are all beasts and it sucks to loose them next year. They are the kind of players u wish u could keep around forever

Yep. I actually think we will be just fine with next years corner backs. Losing KS and Nevis will be tougher task. But KS has Mentor to replace him postion wise so I think we will be ok at that spot but we still loose KS brain and leadership and his helping other guys with lining up and the calls.

Nevis can't be replace... Period!
