re: Negative fans - kiss a girl, play golf, hug your family

I made the conscious decision on Wednesday evening to be a pure LSU FAN and to have FUN with this matchup of one-loss teams. Sure, there are things you can critique about this team, but I am opting for benign self delusion and irrational fandom for today and until the end of tomorrow's game. Gonna drag my butt to the Basin tonight, burn some wood, drink some beer and read the flickering coals of the fire for signs that LSU is going to defeat the dreaded Pachyderms. I shall see such signs.

In the small hours of Saturday morning, I shall rise from my addled slumber, stomach a breakfast of Advil and diet Coke, and then depart to BR for some hard, focused tailgating.

I don't give a damn about no daytime kickoff.

I don't give a damn about no diminutive Tide coach.

I don't give a damn about no coach/QB/poor offensive production-induced hand wringing.

I do give a damn about our LSU Fighting Tigers.
