Ill throw my two cents in (and I think the OP is spot-on), the LSU fanbase is apathetic because LSU football is by-in-large not fun to watch. I will admit that sometimes when I wake up on Saturdays before big games, I almost have a sense of dread because I know that I am about to go through 3.5 hours of torture of sloppy play, poor coaching and uninspired football. I love LSU with a passion and it is simply painful to watch.
