Ron Jaworski on Max Hall:
"They're just not getting the football and when it comes their way it's inaccurate, it's at bouncing at their feet, it is high or it's behind them," Jaworski said. "Receivers begin to lose confidence in the quarterback. These aren't things I'm making up. These are things I look at when I see the tape. The eye in the sky doesn't lie.
"You're going to see the receivers become disinterested. They don't want to be out there lead blocking for power sweeps and stretch running plays. They want to catch some balls. It's an outstanding group of receivers. But you can see when the balls aren't coming down the field, when the explosive plays aren't designed, you are going to lose the receiving corps."

it's called human nature.
and by equating this with LSU's WRs, it's obvious. It's called dropped passes.

you call it human nature, i call it non-professional. in college, i call it an excuse. i've witnesses some damn key drops, incl last week, that were on the money and the wr did not exercise the discipline to catch it before running. it happens sometimes, but way too many times with some of our guys. there is no excuse; the wr fricked up and putting that on the qb is bull shite.

not saying i'm putting it all on the QB. AS the saying goes, you cna't fix stupid, but it sure would be nice if we had an offensive coach that was QB geared and could at least help the students out.
