Scoob, I support your call to arms to support Les Miles. I watched Iowa's Coach Ferentz botch game clock management against Wisconsin last weekend that cost them the win and very little is made of it. A few weeks ago I watched the replay of Saban's last game against Iowa and listened to the announcers point out Saban's bad clock management in that game. Unfortunately there are a lot of immature posters and fans in every fan base. What you are hearing from are a few vocal fans who want perfection. Yes, the media has it in for Les. I called a local sports radio program last week to talk about LSU and asked why the media rips Miles so much and they cut the phone line and trashed him. Yet I'm watching Dooley make mistakes every week with substitutions, illegal procedures and now the quote about feeling like the Germans in WWI. Yes, it's getting some press but no where near what Miles would get. Heck, Dooley has a law degree and comes from Vince Dooley's genes so he gets a pass just like Mark Richt gets a huge pass from the entire media.

So our fans have a choice, show some character or just trash the coach every chance they get. I choose to support our great University, Coaches and Players no matter how the season ends up. All will be reviewed at seasons end. I'm a fan and my role is to enjoy and support college players giving it all each week. If there is one thing I love about Coach Miles it's his passion for playing the game and winning at all costs. He darn near pulled it off against Auburn. I suspect all his coaches and players know they had the perfect game plan but failed with execution on the field. I would much rather see all our fans carrying a rabbit foot to games then to hear so many taking the bait from the media and blasting our coaches and players.

Just curious, what do you think their game plan was?
