Any chance that Lee and/or Shepard leave after this season?

My dad seems to think that Lee and/or Shepard will leave after this season. He thinks Lee would go to a smaller school and give it one last hoorah to try to impress some pro scouts. I don't think this is likely because I don't think Lee would ever be a pro QB, but he could do it to put it to the coaching staff.

He also thinks that Shepard could leave LSU and go to a program where he could play QB. Some say he is too small or doesn't have the arm to play QB. Then I look at Pat White or Robert Griffin III and how they went from not being able to pass to pretty effective passers. He could redshirt a year to learn the offense and still have two seasons left. I hope it doesn't happen, but I couldn't blame him.

Lee would have to transfer to an FCS school. He is a rs JR so he only has 1 year to play. Shep could, but he seems really happy here. I also doubt there are many/any top programs that would start him full time at QB.

Lee may go and I wouldnt blame him.

RS isnt going anywhere if he wants to play in the NFL. He has no shot as QB in the NFL IMO

No way on JL. He stuck it out this far. He's staying.

I don't think so on RS because he really seems to love LSU. He volunteered to play WR (allegedly). I think he stays.

Shepard isn't going anywhere. Now Lee, on the other hand, is a different story. There would be no bigger frick you to Les than to leave after this season. Hell, I wouldn't be shocked to find out he leaves mid-season this year. He's got to be frustrated as hell. How the frick is a QB suppose to get comfortable playing 19 snaps a fricking game? Our staff is a damn embarrassment.

If Lee wants to throw off his back foot at another school, more power to him. JJ is not the answer, but neither is JL.

With the character and heart that Lee has shown throughout his time at LSU I don't see him leaving. Whether he has a pro-career or not, there will be an LSU alumni who picks him up for a good job with their company when he graduates.

Shepard will not leave either. That is a silly statement.

No, he is a WVU alumnus and has a very saavy football mind. He watched how Pat White progressed from strictly a running QB to a successful passing QB. He thinks that Shepard could do the same. There are examples of players doing it all over the nation now.

shep would have been a good pat white type qb in the right system. that being said his nfl future, if he has any at all, is at wr. he is certainly no percy harvin though, which is who many people are hell bent on comparing him to.
