It's as big of an issue for your kid as it is for you if his mom schedules his birthday party in direct conflict with LSU's biggest game of the year. This is a good way for a kid to have a party that nobody shows up for.
I predict several no-shows and several parents who do show, only to drop off a present (or worse, a present and a kid) and then take off for the next three hours.
