I don't understand the reasoning of: "We'll make Auburn prepare for both". Preparing for Jefferson is ridiculously easy. Stop the run, force the pass. It's not hard preparing for the worst QB in the SEC.

Move him into the 1st string QB slowly not in the biggest game of the season.

Good Lord!!!! How slowly do you want him to move into the starting role. He played a lot and won the game for us vs Tenn, he played a lot and won the game for us vs Fla. How many more times does JJ need to put us in a hole and JL bail us out before Miles lets him take control totally of the offense.

And in the SEC, when you are in the conference and national title hunt, EVRY GAME IS THE BIGGEST GAME OF THE YEAR.

I actually think that he will be starting Lee this week. He just likes f-ing with all of us fans who criticize his QB decisions (myself included). Even he is not crazy enough to start JJ against a terrible pass defense. Wilson, ARK backup, shredded them last week.
outstanding post!

How can you claim Lee won the games against Tennessee & Florida. Didn't both QB's contribute?

Asking the question. Has JJ thrown a pick 6 yet?

Auburn sure didnt do to hot last year against Jefferson.

I support starting Lee, but I think it is funny both of our scholarship QBs have a strong performance and win against Auburn.

Predicably, our offensive gameplan this week will play right into Auburn's strength.

Yet, when it happens I will still be shocked.

If you are complaining that our gameplan will be to establish a strong running game early then you have no idea of AUs strength....We do not want to get in a shoot out with them. I believe in our defense, but at the same time I want to keep Cam off the field as much as possible. We have to run the football. I am not saying this means to start JJ, by all means I think we can have an effective running game with JL, but I dont feel comfortable in a shootout with either qb so we need to play Big 10 power football with Ridley and maybe some play action to win this game. It aint pretty but we will be 8-0

We are 7-0 in spite of JJ, not because of him. That is why we need a change

Who cares if he threw a pick 6. Almost everyone of his turnovers the last 4 games have led directly to points for the opposition, weather scored bo the other teams offense or defense is irrelevant.

And on that subject, how many has JL thrown this year.

When you have a defense like LSU it makes a difference. I wouldn't be totally opposed to kicking on 3rd down in some situations vs forcing the ball.

If that WVU DB didn't trip on his own feet and fall down at the 15 yardline, Jefferson would have.

One thing I've noticed about our defense is that they usually give up about one long scoring drive a game (Excluding McNeese and UNC). The rest of an opponent's points come off our turnovers. See JJ's interceptions or PP's muffed punt in the UF game.

Not really, seeing that all of his TOs have resulted in points.

Its sad when our QB is SOOOO bad, that opponent field goals are considered a victory.

Exactly....which is why Lee should start & play most of the game.

JJ can't help but force the ball. 7 interceptions?

You obviously missed the one where the guy tangled his own feet or a stray runner of grass tackled him. How about fumbling inside the 5, that's pretty close.

Everyone see that avatar pic of Bert Jones? If Miles was the coach in 1970, he would've started Paul Lyons over Bert Jones.

Although I think Mac did that a couple of times if I'm not mistaken.
