I think it shows Les to be extremely arrogant and stubborn...

I agree with this. I like Les but this QB situation has gotten to be ridiculous to the point that it is making him look like an idiot.

I still think he just doen't want to show too much of Lee for a reason. I think Lee does something tht tips off where he is going with the ball and Les knows that if he shows him too much peopple will figure it out.

I think McNeese had it figured out and it almost resulted in a pick but the defender couldn't catch.

Miles is actually the one that knows what he is doing but he is walking a fine line that has almost cost him a game or two. He is going to have to go ahead and unleash Lee this weekend in order to win.

I really don't think this is the issue. Jefferson is a virtual three and out machine. How can that be preferable over anything else?

this QB situation.

Is that the same one "QB situation" which has LSU 16-3 in the regular season since the start of 09 and currently has LSU 7-0, 4-0 and ranked #6 in the nation?

I am just sooooooooooo pissed bout that situstion.

Can't you tell.

It's a dadgum shame when the gump blacksheep is the only consistently reasonable poster on this board

You see one of the biggest problems with Lee is that he was very easy to read in 2008 and he has shown some of those tenancies this year, though he has been far more effective in his limited role than he ever came close to being when he was carrying the load.

I think his growth and confidence has allowed him to make significant progress and he is much improved.

However, he has shown flashes of the apocalypse horse riding back foot throwing, lock it in on a route and panic upon contact (or the mere thought of it) habits that once destroyed us.

For Miles to bring him along slowly is the right call to me, despite what the impatient morons amongst us might think.

I also agree that we will have to unleash him and see just how far he has come.

I'm betting he will be great and could wind up leading us to the promised-land this year, returning as the starter next year and becoming an ALL TIME legend and instant LSU HOFer.

All that said, if CLM doesn't keep the progression of the tandem trending toward Lee then he will be allowing his stubbornness to hurt our chances, IMHO, but I am sure he sees the big picture better than any of us internet experts...
