From this years class (2011) has the best chance of starting. Do we have any Tyrann's that could break out?

I was actually going to do a blog on this, but my laptop has been acting up, so I can't get something going. I should get it up sometime this week though

In short, Freak.

Although I wouldn't use the word "starting", but he should get plenty of PT.

Probably a D-back. With only 9 seniors leaving, most of those spots will be gobbled up by current roster guys. Turner or Jenkins(or others) could see some nickel/cb time to spell Tyrann, who should be taking over from PP leaving. Watch for Le'al and Freak pushing for time,as well. Minter will replace Shepp. If we get a bigtime DE, watch for him to get some time, as I think it'll take some time for Montgomery to come back(hope I'm wrong, here).

Aside from Randle, I don't see any WR on our roster as talented as Jarvis Landry. You have to think he'll be in the top 4 with Randle, Shep, and one of either Boone or Wright. I also think La'el Collins will get lots of PT with a chance of starting at LT, and Freak could easily take Nevis' place at DT and start alongside Brockers.

Collins, "The Freak", Landry, and Possibly Robinson if he would commit.

we are going to be very undersized at the receiver position, but i have to agree that landry should see the field early and often.

We need another TT. We used to have big WR's but we dont really have to many anymore. Oh well I talent out weighs size in most cases.

I think y'all are underestimating our talent at WR...and who said "undersized"? U mad? Have you seen Armand, Rueben, or James? Those will be 6'2-6'4, 210 pound guys next season. I'm not saying Landry WON'T be the No. 4 WR next season, but this ain't Auburn. Our WR corps is young and deep. LSU.

we have a lot to prove at that position. i like boone's future for sure. williams is going to work hard and do some nice things and wright is already on the field a ton. now they have to start making plays. have not had many opportunities.....hell, randle has barely had any.

I never said that being undersized was a bad thing. Also I never said that our WR talent was not great. Why would I be mad talking about recruits that I am excited about.

Rueben has NFL written all over him. Easily the tallest and most physically-imposing of the group. That said, Armand just looks to be a pure athlete and James has some meat on his bones as well so he doesn't even seem as tall as he is. He looks to be a very strong guy. My man Russell is much bigger in person than he looks on tv, truly 6'1" to 6'2". We don't need 6'6" receivers to have a great passing game. All these guys are great athletes with plenty of size to be almost un-defendable
