What was with the LSU holding call..

What was the deal with the LSU holding call on the 3rd & 5 when we got the first down plus 5, but there was a dead ball holding call that brought us back to where we started and 4th & 5... why was it not minus ten from the previous spot?

the hold was on #88 ten yards down the field . Its from spot of foul so it made it 3rd and 5. Sacked on next play made it 4th and 10.

I didn't realize that. It really didn't make sense when I was watching it. (I am fairly intoxicated) I figured the holding call was at the line. If that is indeed the case, then it makes sense. Thank you for your input lctiger.
