I went back and edited mine. I was very close to choosing Montana. I'm hoping to move to Missoula next year and I had a friend play them in the playoffs last year and he said it was one of the coolest places he's ever played, and that's coming from a guy who played (well 2nd string) at LSU for a couple years.

Yeah it is, you didn't see there game on ESPN in like 4 inches of snow in the FCS playoffs last year? Looked pretty awesome on TV.

Yeah Missoula is tight. Bring your fly rod and hit the Little Big Horn. Have a buddy up there that brews the dank beer. Back in the '03 Championship yr. I was there and he did an espresso oatmeal stout that was fantastic...
It gets very cold in the winter so bring layers and pack some waterproof boots (Gortex) of some sort. I lived in Livingston, MT near Bozeman & also stayed in Emigrant (approx. 20mi. from Yellowstone Park) and worked near there.
I've fly fished NC,CO,WA, but nothing compares to the pristine fly fishing in Montana.... except for maybe Alaska and the Patagonia area.
