So i just talked to Stanley Roberts. He's working at the five. Why doesn't Johnson get him to help out with the big men as an assistant? He could probably help advance our 7'2 walk-on greatly. What says the rant?

Stanley's and incredible person with and interesting story... But he's a little slow. I'm not sure he's coaching material

I don't think Roberts has his degree yet. Wouldn't that be a requirement to be an assistant?

Big Stanley has the greatest dunk in NBA History!
It was 93 when he played for the Clippers...on John Sally. We have talked about it.
I have only seen it once in 1993...but I have never seen one better.

He's not teaching anything but basketball. I'm sure thre are coaches who left school early to play and then came back...but I don't know.

No link that I know of! I told Big Stanley to make sure it gets online. I saw him at Hooters awhile back and told him he had the best dunk in 1993...he is the one that told me it was "John Sally."
He told me Sally was running his mouth all night...it was when Sally was with the Bulls.
I have been wanting to see that dunk again. It was AWESOME!

Stanley had some sweet moves around the basket. He was never consistent but when he flashed, it was beautiful to watch. He had much better footwork than Shaq. But Shaq was just such a beast, and was so much more of a presence than Stanley ever was. Shaq actually used his frame to defend, block out, or thunder dunk.
Man, I loved those years.
