Falling attendance is a far better way for boobirds to send their message. Just don't go.
I don't think you quite get it.
While the wallet is certainly where you would think would be the logical place to go with displeasure, I want you to think about what makes more of a public opinion impact.......
Is it not showing up to the game at all, or showing up at the game, BOOING, and then leaving in the 3rd quarter of a home football game for LSU? Tigersruletheearth had a recent pictorial of the dramatic exodus from TS at the WVU game. You don't think that makes an impact?
The absence of money is one way to vote your displeasure, sure, but think about the booing and the exodus. National TV commentators notated it in their broadcast, LSU is thrown on PTI and around ESPN with the booing. You don't think that embarrasses Alleva and the like? This thread is proof of such.
Believe it or not, those two things combined have actually ignited a potential energy source that I fear will certainly morph into a kinetic hell over the next decade of LSU football. And, go figure, not a hit in the wallet to be found. Not yet, anyway.
