And how many times have we seen this! Why run a five yard crossing pattern on third and 8 or 9. Send Tolliver/Shepard/Randall on a sprint to the marker and square in with the ball there when the turn and it is a first down the majority of the time, provided they catch the ball. This is not a hard throw.

I think that a lot of those passes short of the marker are supposed to be drag routes which we simply do not know how to execute properly.

because, if our receivers run any further than that, our QB gets sacked...they should just run 3 step drops, quick pass, or run, that's all we have, no threat of the deep ball
