Stewart Cink and Matt Kuchar (USA) vs. Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell (EUR)

Steve Stricker and Tiger Woods (USA) vs. Ian Poulter and Ross Fisher (EUR)

Bubba Watson and Jeff Overton (USA) vs. Luke Donald and Padraig Harrington (EUR)

Surprised he sat Furyk.

I would have sat Overton and put Furyk with Bubba. Very complementary games.

+1

I guess he's concerned since Furyk just won last week and may be drained, but I think you go with the the guy who's hot and play Furyk.....Overton has definately been struggling lately....I don't think Bubba's laid back nature compliments that hot-head very well at all.....we shall see.....

I like Tiger and Stricker to win for the US, but I like the Euros to win the other 3 matches. I hope I'm wrong.

I like Phil and DJ to get a point too.....thinking Westwood will be a little rusty first time back and all....Phil and DJ should compliment each other really well.....

from what I've read, the course seems to set up really well for the Americans....says they should be hitting wedge into 9-12 of the holes and there's a drivable par-4 so even if they're wayward off the tee, the US's length should be nice advantage.....

Im really pumped up about this. I want the US to just dominate this year. Would love to shut the Euros up big time!

Mickelson/Johnson shouldn't lose all weekend. That's a perfect pair

Almost impossible to predict how they will play.
But I atleast like out groupings. I'll wait and see if he gives a reason for sitting Furyk and Mahan

We need to add the rest of world to the fray. Or atleast another tournament that includes everyone

Let Asia and South America each have a team.

And let New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa team up.

The Ryder Cup is easily the most underrated sporting event.
