Is it disrespectful to hunt on someone's land and take the deer and clean it when you get home?
If he offers to help is it disrespectful to say "dont worry about it, i'll take care of it when i get home"?
I'm by no means an expert deer hunter - I've only been a few times with some cousins. I don't think it would be disrespectful as much as it would just be weird to everyone else. As another poster previously mentioned, when someone kills a deer - it is pretty much understood that everyone gathers around and helps out (if you are hunting on a camp with other hunters). They would probably just give you the WTF look if you just decided to take off with the deer.

Is your gun even sighted in?
Have you ever even shot a gun at live game before?
I mean shooting the deer is the first step. Just watch a ton of youtube videos and you could learn to clean it in a month.
But the thought of you looking like a clown trying to clean a deer in front of some other people is pretty hilarious.

It's not a camp. It's at his house. He has a lot of land and a lot of deer he says. He invited me to come over one evening for a hunt. 30 min from my house. that's why i don't think it would be weird to take off and clean it at home. The only other person around would be him.
