Couple of things you could do.

1) Come down with the "flu" or have something up up. This way you get out of going.

2) When you get to the stand, pee on every tree around the stand. This way, you will never see a deer. This might ruin it for your buddy for a while though.

3) Get in the stand and fall asleep. You will never see the deer.

4) Since you are adept at lying, if you see a deer, just lie and say you didn't so you don't have to clean it. Enjoy the sun rise, or, sunset and the nature around you.

I want to go. I want to kill one. I think i'd enjoy hunting. I just hope i can get away with not cleaning it there.

Is it disrespectful to hunt on someone's land and take the deer and clean it when you get home? If he offers to help is it disrespectful to say "dont worry about it, i'll take care of it when i get home"?

First off, can't you people see this whole thread is B.S. No one is this stupid or patholical of a liar. The OP is just stringing you along.

This is not necessarily true. I've shot many of a deer after I couldn't hold it any longer and had to pee. I'm not saying it's the best tactic, but it is not guarantee of keeping deer away.
