Now, here's a sobering thought: what if Miles fully realizes how bad things look, and it turns out he's also aware JJ is still by far the better of the 2 options? It would explain why his answers are so vague, and why he looks frustrated and hesitant when asked. I want to see better qb play as much as any, but I sure don't want OUR COACH saying "to be honest, what you saw against La Tech last year is all we're ever gonna get from him. He's a nice kid but he flat out sucks," to the media about anyone.

This might really be the case. If so, sucks for our offense, and we need better recruiting. But props to Miles if so, for not thoroughly humiliating the Lee family.

The problem comes from Miles trying to hide the QBs from the outside world. If he's been sucking in scrimmages, you don't have to say he sucks, just provide the stats and it gives an idea, but no. He hides the stats from everyone.

This whole predicament is of Miles' creation, so he is the one that has to answer for it. I also think he's the one that should answer to JJ for the boos and explain to him why he keeps throwing him to the wolves week after week.
