That means both his QBs are not "ready for prime time"...

I think that would help him, because people would more easily accept that they both stink and he's not playing the lesser of two. What a terrible thing I just wrote.

I don't think the QB situation will ever be a bright spot with Crowton as the QB coach. He sucks at developing QBs, so it doesn't matter who we land until he's gone.

Lee deserves a shot, but absolutely nothing suggests he will be any better than he was before because no one with any ability is coaching him to be better.

i think the LSU fanbase needs to just accept that we are a team without any real QB options

and we won't likely have an option in 2011, unless something drastic happens

then, in 2012 (barring getting mettenberger's commitment), we will be in an even worse situation

Mettenberger can play in 2011

i don't buy that miles isn't playing jl because if he doesn't work out, he's fricked (or the team or TAF). he appears to be already admitted that aboth of the qb's are not ready for prime time. i am 100% positive he's playing JJ because he thinks that gives us the best chance of winning. i, however, would like to see him play JL, at least several possessions a game.

If he starts JL and he plays as uninspired as JJ

Then Miles can blame himself. Someone told JL he was going in the game in the second half and he put his helmet on and walked to the huddle at the same time Jefferson did. The he looked around confused and walked back to the sidelines.

Way to build the kid up, eh?
