Passing attack or will this be the game where our lack of passing ability catch up with us?
Posted on 9/21/10 at 11:35 am to Hammond Tiger Fan
All depends on the defense. We need to fix the passing game now.
Posted on 9/21/10 at 11:35 am to Hammond Tiger Fan
We are NOT Marshall
Posted on 9/21/10 at 11:35 am to Hammond Tiger Fan
yep, 3-3-5, we run for 250+
Posted on 9/21/10 at 11:35 am to Hammond Tiger Fan
Their defense gave up 20 something to Marshall. I'm not worried

No. WE are doomed. We will never pass the ball again, and teams will stack the line and shut down the run. We may not even beat ulm, and mcnese could be a toss up. CHRIST. You guys act as if we can't pass the ball at all. You guys have NO CLUE as to what lsu has been doing the past few weeks. Staying very conservative, trying to build confidence in JJ, and knowing LSU has the talent to just simply overwhelm the past couple teams if they play smart, conservative football. You seem to forget that jefferson was having one of the best games of the year for him last year until he was knocked out of the bama game...and that was against arguably against the best D in the country. We are very capable of passing the ball, and will. You guys need to fricking freaking out.

I agree. The retardation here is insufferable.

As needed.

No we cannot. Whats retarded is you people who dont seem to see the big picture. Vandy and Miss St. tired to stop us from running, and for the most part were successful The only reason we had some success is because they are VANDY AND MISS ST!!!! Starting this week, the better teams will load the box and force us to throw. If you cant throw against Vandy and State do you really believ this so called passing game is gonna just all of a sudden emerge against better teams?! Get real people!!!

Dunbarton, how come JJ needs his confidence built?

Tired? yeah that right we wore them down and due to lack of depth we prevailed
so you get real and STFU

You mean like Air Force did Oklahoma?
Posted on 9/21/10 at 12:02 pm to lashinala
Defense, special teams, pound the ball.

WVU's 3-3-5 defense is built to stop the run, however, this will be a big test for our front 6. We have more depth than we've had in years on the D-Line, but our leading tackler from last season Pat Lazear hasn't played any this season and our LB depth is thin.
One advantage to the odd stack is that it can confuse opposing QB's who haven't played against it, and it takes a few series to get the hang of it, and when they do, Jeff Casteel (D-Cord) has been great at making adjustments.
