i think the vandy game presented a conundrum for the coaching staff. our passing game was awful. their response was to simplify and depend on the running game only passing when they felt it necessary. after the last two years, i think the staff is a bit paranoid. it seems as if a portion of our fan base ignors these facts as miles made no secret of it. what i am saying is we saw what miles told us they would do. we don't have to guess why; they are worried about JJ's confidence levels. like a pitcher in baseball, the "head game" is damn important. the good, no great news is that JJ played a hell of a game, esp in the second half. his passing was right on. his wr's let him down in a few critical plays that,if completed, would have had the fans much happier about the situation. this year, unlike last year, i see that we have the ability to improve adn i think we will. i do not buy the mantra that i am reading that there is no way we can beat the better teams and then interjecting the game plan from last weeks game into the future games. msu is a different team than florida, bama, etc. we will game plan them differently. we will need our passing game to win those games. if JJ doesn't lay an egg like the vandy game, i think our passing game will show up. funny how no one is bashing our wr's. they need to catch the passes that hit them in the damn hands!
