Sports Center said up to six weeks. The ESPN text alert said at least six weeks. Bobby Hebert on the Point After said at least six weeks.

I'm going with the two out of three.

Seriously. How you can you say any number of weeks when you have the injury as "injury to back of the right leg". I get they have an idea what the injury is but the rush to throw out a time period is a little ridiculous.

I'm saying the way he reacted and where he grabbed - broken fibula. The knee of the SF guy landed right on it

His leg is broken so I stand by the ESPN text alert: AT LEAST 6 WEEKS.

lol who said his leg was broken? we would not have been standing with a broken bone, that pain is instant. some kind of MCL injury from the look of it, not as bad as acl's tho, thats the good news

Our Offense just lost a huge dimension. This will make things alot easier for D's to scheme against.

Fantastic news, really. I know it sounds stupid but when I saw how much pain he was in I kind of got hopeful about his potential return. Seems like the season ending ligament tears don't cause so much pain.

For a few seconds though I thought he might have played his last down as a Saint.

A bone break is much better than a tear of any kind. He'll heal up, be back in the line-up sometime around the bye week and ready to kick the Saints into home field advantage for the playoffs.

I'm guessing we'll be 6-2 when get gets back in the game.
