He is not going to wow anyone at anytime this season but I am convinced the offensive woes fall on the shoulders of the Wizard.
This seems contradictory. If JJ is mediocre and tentative (which I think most would agree) how do you blame the staff for not opening it up when they are uncomfortable with him and he with himself? How do you argue they are wasting his talent when there is not much there?
The defense and special teams won that game, with 5 interceptions and starting field position around the opponents own 45, the game shouldn't be close in the 4th Q.

Finally! Someone who gets it! My friends, the truth is, quarterback progression under Gary Crowton is painfully SLOW at best. Let’s face it, when he first arrived he had a quarterback ready to play. Matt Flynn understood the system and had the mental focus to get the ball to the play makers without much deliberation. Our boy JJ is still struggling with his decision process. The game is still moving entirely too fast for his mind’s eye. His skill at throwing the ball down field are poor at best. For me it's like watching Jamarcus Russell all over again. His progression is PAINFULLY SLOW! But, at least JM had a strong arm.
